Why do kids love mud??? Last week Drew and Joey played outside for 30 minutes. They both came to the door crying and covered in mud. They were throwing it at each other. Last Friday when Drew and Mommy got home from school, Drew was told he could play outside if he went in the house first and got his boots on. Mommy went inside for 5 minutes. When she went out to see if he was coming in to get his boots, he was covered in mud up to his knees! His shoes were unrecognizable. Then Drew and Daddy were playing in the water at the end of the driveway. Drew's snow boots were soaking wet. That brings us to today. Drew and Mommy took Simon to the vet to get his yearly shots. Simon went crazy and attacked the vet. They had to give him his shots wearing leather gloves and wrapping him in a towel. He has never been that crazed. Drew was scared. After we got home, Drew was playing in the garage. He peed his pants. So he was walking toward the house with his legs spread wide. Mommy was standing by the mud telling him not to walk in it. Mommy said it 3 times. You guessed it, Drew ran in the mud. Mommy is ready to pour cement in all muddy areas of our yard!
This past weekend we had dinner at Lone Spur. When we were almost finished, a family with a little girl sat down near us. The little girl hurt herself and started crying. Drew said, "They shouldn't let crying girls into this restaurant."
Yesterday Mommy, Drew and Dylan went to the field house to play. Drew was racing Mommy across the play field. He kept telling her, "This is good exercise Mommy!"
A couple days ago Mommy and Daddy told Drew he should finish what he is eating before talking so he doesn't talk with food in his mouth. Every dinner since then Drew has told either Mommy or Daddy, "don't talk with food in your mouth".
The boy is a character!!!
