Dump Truck Stories

Last Wednesday was Dump Truck story time. The dump truck also had a plow on the front. The kids had so much fun. They got to get into the drivers seat and honk both horns. Dylan didn't enjoy it as much as the big kids.there also was a John Deere in the parking lot

Thursday we went to a truck pull in Faribault. The kids had fun at the fair too.
Friday we went to a truck pull in Hutchinson. While we were waiting for the pull to start, Mommy and the kids walked over to Walmart. We didn't get home until 2:30am!
Saturday we hung out in Hopkins for the raspberry festival. We had lots of fun with Grandma Luna, Grandpa Ron and Auntie Lisa. Mommy gave blood for the first time since 1991. We played bingo and Drew played pull tabs. Drew did take a nap in his stroller. It was a long day from getting home so late the night before.
Sunday we headed back to Hopkins for the parade. Drew enjoyed hanging out with Bailey Dore. Mommy played in her last softball game of the season.
We are back on track for bedtime and nap times. Just in time for Drew to spend the weekend with Grandma Luna and Grandpa Ron while Mommy and Daddy go to Vegas.
Last night Joey and Dylan spent the night. Uncle Erik is in Michigan salmon fishing. Mommy is not interested in the kids coming over at 3:45am when Auntie Mandi goes to work. Joey and Dylan are spending the night again tonight. But first we are going to the Kids Carnival at Parker's Lake. The kids are really excited!

Joey Anna is 4!

This morning Drew said he wants to be a combine driver when he turns 5. Because he knows 5 year olds can reach the pedals! But he also said he doesn't want to loose any teeth when he turns 5. He thinks he has it all covered. His favorite line lately is, "Everything is under control Mom."

We are going to Chuck E. Cheese for lunch to celebrate Joey's birthday. Drew has been watching his calendar for days waiting for this one. But he doesn't want Joey to be 4 because he doesn't want her to be bigger than him!

Independence Day

We had a busy, but enjoyable holiday weekend. Thursday night Drew spent the night at Grandma Luna and Grandpa Ron's house. He got to play with his friend Mickie and go to the park. Mommy and Daddy went to "the lake".
Friday we had lunch at Perkins. We had to wait 45 minutes from the time we ordered until we got our food. Not fun with a 3 year old. Although he didn't do too bad. We did a little shopping including getting some decorations for Drew's bike for the parade. After a nice nap we headed to Buffalo for the Kreitlow family reunion. It was nice to visit with some relatives we don't see much. And the best part was we didn't bring any wood ticks home!

Saturday morning Drew rode his bike in the neighborhood parade. He was so proud. He didn't even see Mommy standing by the road watching the parade. He was too busy trying to catch up to the John Deere power wheels vehicle in front of him. After the parade we stopped for treats with the neighbors. After nap time we went to hang with Grandma Luna and Grandpa. They made an awesome lunch. Drew took us to the park at Alice Smith school. He was excited to show Mommy and Daddy all the things he likes at the park. He has been waiting a long time to take us there. We saw a few fireworks on the way home, but didn't go anywhere to try to watch them.

Sunday we headed to Cannon Falls, Mn to watch Papa get 3rd place at a truck pull. Drew had to take a "wet wipe" bath just to be able to get in the truck to go home! He was filthy. Drew and Joey rode in number 9 with Papa and Gerry. They are getting too big! They have always needed another adult to sit in the sleeper with them to keep them under control!

Monday was a sad day. Charley Roy went to heaven. Drew says not to worry because he is sitting on Grandma Helen's lap and playing with Bailey (Uncle Erik's dog). Love you Charles!

Tuesdays are Mommy's bad day. Not sure why, but every week Tuesdays are rough. And this week was no exception! Enough said.

Today Auntie daycare is heading to Drew's school for Bulldozer story time. The Lindstrom's are still sleeping. Drew is itching to wake them up. He thinks it will be time to go to story time if they wake up!
