Daddy free time

Daddy has been in Las Vegas for 3 full days now... It is amazing how clean the house stays when he is not here.

Thursday was busy. Drew had school and then we made a trip to the Library. Drew picked out a movie that ended up being cracked and unwatchable. That caused some heartache. After nap we went to swimming lessons. Grandma Luna offered to take the movie back and try to get another, but the Library by her house was closed. Drew thinks we are going to get the movie on Monday. Unfortunately they rarely have the exact movies he wants when we are there. Maybe he'll forget (fingers crossed).

Friday we went to the Plymouth field house with Joey and Dylan. We met one of Drew's friends from school there. Drew had a little cold. He hardly ate anything all day, but he was running around like crazy at the field house. By dinner time he had a fever of 104.6. His Doctor's office said if it stays under 105, he should be OK. Mommy stayed in Drew's room for the night (we were going to have a slumber party anyway). Drew still had a fever at 3am, but it went down a little.

By morning he was doing much better. By Saturday afternoon he was itching to go to a party with Grandpa Ron, Grandma Luna and Auntie Lisa. Mommy is waiting for him to get home to see how he is feeling.

Drew's new Obsession

Drew has become totally obsessed with wanting a baby. He wants it to be a girl and he wants to name her Mickie. He says we need to buy diapers and baby food. He tells me we will have to go down the baby aisle when we go shopping. He says she can use his crib, but he is not sure what she will use for a mattress because Joey uses the crib mattress now. He is breaking my heart how much he has been talking about it. He asks when we can get one in my tummy. When asked why he wants a baby he replied, "So I have someone to play with in the morning." He thinks we are getting one on Thursday!?! If we win the lottery, a baby would be at the top of the list!!!

At school today, Drew went on a cafeteria tour. At the end they got to have milk and cookies. If the chocolate on his face was any indication, I think he enjoyed it! We went and got him a haircut and now he is napping. Swimming lessons tonight and then we are going to Champp's for dinner.

Daddy leaves for Las Vegas on Thursday. Drew says, "Good, I don't want him around here." I think it is because he knows we are having a slumber party while Daddy is gone. I told Drew he can either sleep in my bed one night or I will sleep in his. He is pretty excited!

Drew this morning

We went to the City of Plymouth Fire and Ice Festival yesterday. The kids always have fun walking on the lake. Drew went on a wagon ride, played snow mini golf and snow bowling. We played at the park, had fun with a sled and slid around on the ice. The event was capped off with fireworks. It's always great to see fireworks without having to stay up past bedtime.

This past week was busy. Drew spent lots of time with Daddy. Mommy went bowling Monday night. Wednesday Mommy, Grandma Luna and Auntie Mandi went to see "Footloose" at the Chanhassen dinner Theater. It was awesome! Friday Mommy had Girl's night out. Oh well, Daddy gets to go to Las Vegas for A WEEK soon.

Today we are heading to Zackory's 4th birthday party.
